How We Look After the Details You Send Us.

Who We Are

Grab Hire Guildford is a trading name of LTS Grab Hire Ltd, registered in England under company number 11587965, with its registered office at 513 London Road, Cheam, Sutton SM3 8JR and its yard at Martlands Industrial Estate, Smarts Heath Lane, Mayford, Woking GU22 0RQ. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

What We Collect

When you ask for a quote by phone, WhatsApp, email or the form on this website, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the postcode of the job, and a description or photographs of the materials to be collected or delivered. If we go on to do the work, we also keep the details needed to invoice you and to issue the waste transfer note for the load.

How We Use It

We use your details to price the job, to arrange and carry out the collection or delivery, to issue the waste transfer note we are required to keep, and to invoice you. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for marketing unless you have asked us to keep in touch.

Who We Share It With

Your details are shared only where the job needs it: with the licensed transfer station that receives the load, with our accountants for invoicing, and with the providers that host this website and our email. Waste transfer notes are kept for the period the law requires.

How Long We Keep It

Quote enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed jobs, including waste transfer notes, are kept for as long as waste and tax law requires, which is currently up to six years.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted where the law allows, and ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@grabhireguildford.co.uk or call 01483 323524. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
